The Primary Care School Board has revised the environment and educator forms and process.
Here you will find two new forms:
To recognise environments and educators new to education and training.
To support ongoing quality improvement, HEE and Training Hubs will connect to support the review of already recognised environments and educators that will come together as a PCN.
We have also attached a PowerPoint to summarise the processes in the following scenarios:
- PCN without previously recognised learning environments.
- Aspiring new educators to batched at scale across PCN or ICB scale footprints.
- PCNs with some already approved learning environments, looking to be approved as a whole and with additional constituent practices.
- Annual self-assessment of already recognised environments and educators
All Training Hubs have been encouraged to approve large scale approval of educators and environments. “Large scale” can be PCNs or relating to a relevant organisation or geography, such as, ICB.
Training Hubs can seek assistance from HEE for batch educator approvals process if needed. There will be a discussion with your Primary Care Dean about whether an ICB area wishes to seek this assistance, and the PC Dean will make a recommendation and around the length of time this is needed for to allow for our capacity planning.
