1. Updated Healthcare Practitioners guidance for Pneumococcal Vaccination to include People Experiencing Homelessness (PEH)

Please find below the link to the updated Information for Healthcare Practitioners for the pneumococcal vaccination programme that now covers PEH as a new risk group from 1 October 2026:

Colleagues are kindly asked to cascade to providers in their area. 

2. Responding to measles outbreaks: local learning to improve uptake and reduce health inequalities webinar on 25 September, 1.30pm-2.30pm – FOR INFORMATION

Join us for a webinar exploring how system partners have responded to recent measles outbreaks in Birmingham and Solihull and the London Borough of Enfield.

This webinar will aim to share practical insights and highlight effective approaches to improving vaccine uptake in underserved communities. Speakers will discuss approaches for building trust and confidence in specific communities, as well as improving access through tailored engagement, communications, and service delivery.

The webinar will be chaired by Kevin Dunbar, Deputy Director of Public Health, Vaccinations and Screening Directorate, NHS England.
