Registered Healthcare Professionals’ Experience and Comfort Working with Transgender Patients
TransActual is currently conducting a follow-up survey to our 2024 Medical Practitioners’ Survey. This 5-minute survey is for registered healthcare practitioners working in the UK, including those in the private, non-profit and/or public sectors. This includes nurses, doctors, pharmacists, physio- and occupational therapists, and others with health-related qualifications. This also includes anyone who may currently be on leave, but not individuals who are retired / no longer working in this field.
The survey will ask about your experiences with and views about transgender patients, as well as your access to training on trans inclusion. We are particularly keen to hear from those with a wide variety of views, including those who may have less or no experience with trans patients.

This research is vital to our understanding of the medical community’s perspectives and experiences working with trans patients, and for giving a clearer picture of the training need in this area. The survey will be live until 1 September, 2026, and participants can enter a £50 prize draw.
