Redbridge MSK SPoA Goes Live on 29 May 2026

Redbridge Musculoskeletal (MSK) Single Point of Access (SPoA) will go live from Friday 29th May 2026.
The introduction of the SPoA forms part of the wider North East London MSK transformation programme, supporting a more standardised and clinically appropriate referral process across MSK services. Prior to referral, practices are encouraged to support patients with appropriate self-management options where clinically suitable, including the GetUBetter platform. GetUBetter – North East London


From this date, all MSK referrals for the following services should be submitted via the SPoA on eRS:
Community Physiotherapy
Orthopaedics
Pain Management
Neurosurgery


Referral routes are as follows:
Community Physiotherapy referrals should be submitted via Primary Care MSK Team (PCMT)-SPA-Musculoskeletal Therapies RAS-King George Hospital RF4
ESP, Orthopaedics, Pain Management and Neurosurgery referrals should be submitted via MSK Secondary Care SPA Orthopaedics, Pain and Spine RAS-King George Hospital-RF4-BHRUT

All referrals should be made using Rego.
Please ensure all relevant clinical and administrative staff are aware of this change ahead of go live.
