Dear colleagues,
Please see attached a letter to the system regarding the discontinuation of Levemir®. The letter outlines several urgent actions systems need to take to ensure the safe transition of all patients to alternative treatments ahead of the discontinuation.
A staff-facing poster is also attached for use, this is to be made available in treatment/all areas for all relevant staff to access, this outlines the available guidance regarding the switching.
