NHS App – Resources to support increased usage

The NHS App allows patients to order their repeat prescriptions, which directly feeds into practice clinical systems, saving the practice the effort required to manually re-enter them and avoiding errors.
A range of resources have been developed to support practices increase patient uptake of the NHS App for repeat prescriptions, including posters, leaflets, patient videos,sms campaigns, process change ideas, how to track usage. You can find all of these resources here:
If you’d like support to promote the App, your practice can be paired with a facilitator who can help you increase uptake over a series of 6 x 30 minute sessions. If you would like to discuss this further, please contact martha.morris@nhs.net
