Immunisation CQRS Service Offers
There are still a number of practices who are yet to accept the following CQRS Service offers:-
Childhood Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Programme (two and three year olds) 2024/2025
Seasonal Flu Service 2024/25
Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) – adults aged 75 and over 2024-25
Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) – Vaccination In Pregnancy 2024-25
Shingles vaccination programme 2024-25
All practices who were offered Child Seasonal Flu and Seasonal Flu had completed the form to confirm that they would be providing the service. The remaining three progammes are an Essential Service and part of the GP contract and the offers therefore need to be accepted. If a practice is not providing these services, they will need to inform the London Immunisation Team of the steps taken to ensure that their patients can receive the vaccination elsewhere. Those practices who rejected the offers have had them re-offered; apart from the RSV pregnancy programme to those sites known to only have elderly residents.
Please can practices accept these outstanding offers as soon as possible. The final hard stop deadline to accept offers is 30th September 2024.
If a practice cannot see the service offers in the Participation Mangement tab, it may have already been accepted. The attached document provides details on how to check. Please follow the guidance prior to contacting the team for support.
Please also be reminded that the Seasonal Flu programme for the majority of patients does not start until 3rd October 2024. The CQRS extraction for September achievement will be restricted (nationally) to only extract those cohorts due for vaccination from 1st September: Pregnant women, at-risk children and child flu. For those practices that have planned clinics for September, please target those cohorts only. Other cohorts will not be extracted or paid if given during September. It is expected that there will be a small number of patients where a vaccination is deemed necessary prior to the pubished start date, following a clinical decision, and these need to be claimed manually via our generic inbox. Claims will need to be sent with supporting evidence of clinical need (no PID to be sent) and will be checked and verified prior to the claim being approved.
Please contact the team directly at england.londonimms@nhs.net with any queries.
