Homerton Fertility Centre has resumed services

The Homerton Fertility Centre resumed services from 16 December 2024, with a new Referral Assessment Service (RAS) going live on the same date.
Key points:
- Full fertility services will resume following successful completion of the centre’s improvement program and extensive peer review process and reinstatement of its HFEA licence
- Initial focus will be on a phased resumption of treatment cycles to ensure safe and high-quality care
- The service will operate under enhanced quality and safety protocols
- New referrals can be made via the RAS.
Referral process:
- Please continue to follow the NEL ICB fertility policy criteria when referring patients
- The Directory of Service (DOS) has been updated to include two new referral forms, one for NHS patients and one for self-funders. The DOS also includes details of eligibility with links to Homerton’s website.
- All referrals should include required blood tests and screening as per previous guidance
- The RAS will help ensure appropriate streaming of patients and ensure a quicker pathway
