Heart Failure Care Webinar

Posted on:

Dear colleague,

You are kindly invited to register for an educational webinar about Heart Failure care, co-hosted by the South and North London Cardiac Operational Delivery Networks.  All primary care and community-based clinicians working in London are welcome to attend.

Featuring expert consultant cardiologist guest speakers, the webinar focuses on practical approaches and ‘how to’ steps to support Heart Failure management in primary care.

The webinar will involve a deep dive into two case studies: (a) initiation and optimisation of 4 pillar therapy for HFrEF (Heart Failure with reduced Ejection Fraction); and (b) managing diuretics in the Heart Failure context. This limited scope will allow the webinar to feature detailed case studies, enabling attendees to discuss, explore queries, and build confidence. These two deep dives will be followed by an open Q&A for primary care clinicians to raise additional questions relating to Heart Failure medication and treatment.

Overview of agenda:

  • Introduction
  • Context: updated NICE HF guideline and QOF indicators
