BHRUT are currently experiencing high numbers of patients attending the Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit at Queen’s.
We understand that some expectant mothers have been led to believe that they can “drop in” and get a scan. This is not the case. The team within the service, based at the Gynae emergency unit, run an emergency service.
The attached poster has been designed to help patients who are less than 12 weeks pregnant and has a QR code that patients can scan and complete a self-referral. Patients will then be contacted by the hospital team.
