RCGP NEL Faculty Recognitions Awards 2026

Dear NEL Faculty Board,

I’m pleased to let you know that nominations for the NEL Faculty Awards are now open!

The awards are a great opportunity to recognise GPs and colleagues who have gone above and beyond, made a meaningful difference to patients and colleagues or demonstrated outstanding dedication, innovation and commitment to general practice.

This year’s categories are:

• Outstanding Educator
• Rising Star
• Lifetime Achievement
• Outstanding Innovation
• Outstanding team in Primary Care

Nominations can be made online via our awards portal here, where you can also find further information and the criteria for each category.

Please do share the Awards with your networks and encourage colleagues to put forward someone deserving of recognition.

Winners and their nominators will be invited to our Faculty Awards and Celebration Evening on 27 November.
