Little journey app

BHRUT have recently launched the little journey app to be downloaded by Children and young people who will be coming to Queen’s or King George Hospitals for surgery, blood tests or MRI’s. 

Below is an email script for Little Journey to publicise and I have also attached a poster could this be forwarded to GP practices and also the Child Health centres please. As we would like as many children and young people to use the app prior to their appointment with us. 

Queen’s and King George Hospitals would like to introduce a free smartphone app called Little Journey.

Little Journey is an app you can download and use at home to help you and your child prepare for their hospital visit for a blood test, MRI or Operation.

The app provides virtual tours of the hospital showcasing every room your child will visit. It offers soothing relaxation exercises, fun distraction games, and even bite-size information articles for caregivers. 

Little Journey is available for download in the App Store and Google Play Store. We highly recommend it to our patients! Please find a step-by-step guide on how to download and set up the Little Journey app attached to this email.
