Accelerate CIC has been commissioned by NHS City & Hackney CCG to implement and deliver a lymphoedema specialist service.
The lymphoedema/chronic oedema team has established a proven model of care for this group of patients in other areas with excellent outcomes.
The service aims to enhance the provision of care to all those with chronic oedema by:
Raising awareness of this condition
Providing support and advice to health care professionals in their day-to-day management of patients with chronic oedema
Treating those patients with complex chronic oedema who require specialist treatment.
