Treclin (tretinoin with clindamycin) is amber on the formulary and requires Specialist Initiation before continuation in Primary Care (no shared care guidelines).

For the topical treatment of psoriasis, preparations include: Zinc and Salicylic Acid Paste, BP (specialist recommendation).

Azathioprine is Hospital Only in the following situations:

• Severe Resistant Childhood Atopic Eczema
• Renal Transplantation
• ALL Parenteral formulations

Adherence to the revised British Association of Dermatologists (BAD) list of preferred Specials is encouraged to ensure safe, consistent and cost-effective prescribing.
