Prenoxad pre-loaded injection is formulary for the folliwing indications:

• People with problem opiate use either prescribed or illicit who are not currently able to access naloxone promptly from a Borough Commissioned Substance Misuse Service /hostel and homeless provision.
• Suitable patients prescribed high dose opiates in primary care (e.g., those with a history of accidental or deliberate overdose or other risk factors) -
• People who require a replacement (expired product), who are unable to obtain this from local drug services. (e.g., due to the Covid-19 pandemic)
