HPV Self-Sampling for cervical screening (London SelfScreen) pathway – 5th August 2026

Dear colleagues,
In September 2025, NHS London became the first region in England to offer opportunistic HPV self-sampling in general practice.
The Region is pleased to confirm the further expansion of this opportunistic pathway to include all London General Practices has gone live.
This is a groundbreaking step forward in making screening more accessible and empowering for patients.
The emails have been sent directly to all remaining NEL practices.
