Volunteer with The Kids Network – Make a Difference in East London

Posted on:

The Kids Network is a London-based early intervention charity supporting children aged 8–11 years through 1:1 mentoring. We train local volunteers to deliver child-led sessions focused on fun, connection, and emotional development.

We are currently partnered with primary schools across Hackney and Tower Hamlets, and have children waiting to be matched with mentors. To meet this need, we are actively recruiting volunteers from the North East London community.

Benefits:

  • For children: Improves wellbeing, builds confidence, and provides consistent 1:1 support
  • For volunteers: Builds skills, sense of fufilment, and increases connection to the community
  • For the wider community: Strengthens local connections and supports preventative health outcomes

Mentors often report improved wellbeing themselves, while families and schools highlight the positive impact on children’s confidence and resilience.
