The purpose of this briefing note is to detail the clinical and public health response. The Gastrointestinal Infections, Food Safety and One Health Division (GIFSOH), alongside public health agencies of Devolved Administrations, Food Safety Authorities and the Animal & Plant Health Agency, are investigating a cluster of Salmonella Enteritidis following increased case reporting.
