SPoA Awareness Sessions
Dear colleagues,
NHS England is hosting a series of webinars to support organisations in preparing for the implementation of the elective Single Point of Access (SPoA) model and associated changes planned for the NHS e-Referral Service (e-RS).
The webinars will provide an overview of how e-RS functionality will support SPoA; demonstrate the developing e-RS features and outline key considerations for organisations as they prepare for the changes they need to make to e-RS to support their SPoA pathways from October 2026 onwards.
There are sessions specifically for NHS Acute Trusts and general sessions for primary care and other providers, available to book at the same link Single Point of Access in the NHS e-Referral Service sessions – NHS England Digital. Please only book onto one of the sessions that are relevant to your organisation.
These sessions are intended to raise awareness and provide an opportunity for organisations to ask questions and inform their local readiness ahead of implementation. Each webinar will be 60 minutes and limited to 50 attendees. Further national communications will be issued in due course to support system readiness for the e-RS changes required to enable SPoA delivery from October 2026 onwards.
Best wishes,
Pascale
