Specialist Advice Evaluation – We’d like to understand your experience of specialist advice

Posted on:

NHS England is looking to hear from a range of clinical and administrative staff in primary, secondary and community care involved in giving and receiving specialist advice, as well as those involved in commissioning specialist advice services.

They have commissioned NHS NECS to undertake an independent evaluation of the impact of specialist advice to understand future opportunities and policy direction

The evaluation will explore:

  • user experiences across primary, secondary and community teams
  • the benefits, issues, and limitations of using specialist advice, unintended consequences, enablers, and barriers to specialist advice
  • pre and post referral models including Referral Assessment Service/Clinical Assessment Service models, and patient choice.

Hearing about and understanding your experience of specialist advice is hugely helpful – online interviews (c. 30mins) are being conducted between December 2024 and January 2025.

Please use the link or below to register your interest and provide consent, and NECS will be in touch to arrange a suitable time.
