Serious Shortage Protocols for Ramipril and Creon® – extension
Because of ongoing supply issues we are extending the Serious Shortage Protocol (SSP) currently in place for Ramipril 2.5mg tablets (SSP071) which is due to end on Friday 15 November. The new end date for SSP071 is Friday 29 November.
In addition, the SSPs currently in place for Creon® 10000 capsule (SSP060) and Creon® 25000 capsules (SSP061) which are due to end on Friday 22 November are being extended until Friday 23 May 2025.
SSP074 (Monomax® XL 60mg tablets) is not being extended and ends on Friday 15 November.
The SSPs are available to view onthe NHS Business Service Authority (BSA)’s dedicated SSP web page.
