Redbridge Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) in Primary Care Survey 2025
FAO: Redbridge practices only
We invite you to take part in the Redbridge Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) in Primary Care Survey (2025) 👉 LARC Questionnaire
This is your opportunity to share your perspective on LARC and what additional support would be needed to provide more LARC within your practice. It should only take 5 minutes to complete.

LARC methods, such as intrauterine devices (IUDs) and the birth control implant, are the most effective methods of contraception. However, the number of LARCs inserted in General Practice has fallen substantially following the Covid-19 pandemic. Providing more LARC in primary care could reduce some of the barriers residents face when accessing specialist sexual health services, such as inability to travel and addressing misconceptions and misinformation, facilitating trust with patients.
We really appreciate you taking the time to help us understand the challenges and opportunities related to LARC in Primary Care better – thank you!
