Redbridge: Children’s social care occupational therapy
We are writing to advise that, as of the 1 August 2024, the children’s social care occupational therapy team will be transferring from NELFT back to the Local Authority (London Borough of Redbridge). Children’s social care occupational therapy is a statutory service for children and young people (aged 0-18) with a disability or long-term condition, living in Redbridge. The service supports children and young people to be as independent as possible in their home environment by offering advice, demonstrating alternative ways of doing things, providing specialist equipment when required, and making recommendations for adaptions to buildings.
Please find attached the new referral form for referrals to the children’s social care OT team. Please use this referral form from the 1 August 2024 and send any completed referral forms to cpat.referrals@redbridge.gov.uk.
