NHS General Practice Staff Survey 2024 development – request for help

Posted on:

As part of the ongoing development of the NHS General Practice Staff Survey questionnaire, the Survey Coordination Centre working with NHS England is looking to recruit volunteers from a wide range of different roles and backgrounds to help them test the survey questions. Cognitive testing is being conducted to check that the survey questions remain relevant, easy to understand and answer, and fit for purpose.

How you can help

Please help support them by advertising the opportunity to take part in this testing to staff at practices, PCNs, and federations in your area.

You can find out more via this link: GPSS questionnaire development.

They are looking for volunteers from a wide range of backgrounds to test the questionnaire. Anyone working in general practice and employed by an organisation such as a practice, PCN, or federation is eligible. Volunteers can register their interest by following the link below and providing some details about themselves: https://bit.ly/GPSStesting2024.

Selected volunteers will then be invited to take part in an informal interview via Teams, lasting around an hour, during which one of our researchers will work through a draft version of the 2024 questionnaire with them.

This year, interviews will take place over three rounds:

·        Round 1: 29 April – 8 May

·        Round 2: 28 May – 5 June

·        Round 3: 19 June – 28 June

Recruitment is now open. Please download this advert to advertise this opportunity as widely as possible. They are keen to recruit volunteers from a broad range of different roles and backgrounds across general practice.
