Next steps on the delivery plan for recovering access to primary care

Posted on:

NHS England recovering access to primary care update sets out how they are making it easier and quicker for patients to see their GP, including rolling out the biggest expansion of community pharmacy services in years; training thousands of people in practice reception teams in care navigation skills; and supporting many practices to upgrade to digital telephony systems.

Continuing to improve timely access to primary care and reducing pressure on staff remains a priority for the second year.
