New early‑onset type 2 diabetes video resources – launch event for NEL health professionals
Early‑onset type 2 diabetes is rising across north east London, with around 20,000 people aged 17–45 living with the condition. Younger adults often experience poorer outcomes, so accessible, culturally relevant support is essential.
To help support this community, NHS NEL ICB have worked with UCLPartners to develop a new suite of videos for you to share with patients. The videos cover everything from understanding your diagnosis to eating well on a diabetes‑friendly diet and are designed to complement existing primary care resources.
We’re excited to invite you to join our launch and dissemination event.
