NEL – 28 May: free kidney education webinar for people with CKD 1-3

Posted on:

Dear Colleagues,

The London Kidney Network and Kidney Care UK hold free online education events for people living in London with early-stage chronic kidney disease (CKD), stages 1-3.

Just a reminder that the next online event is on 28 May, followed by events on 30 July, 24 Sept and 26 Nov.

Our online interactive sessions cover:

  • What CKD means
  • Causes
  • Maintaining kidney health
  • CKD treatments, e.g. medications
  • Lived experiences from those living with early-stage CKD
  • An opportunity to ask questions to multi-disciplinary experts

Each session will be the same and is focused on early-stage CKD.

It is not suitable for those with advanced CKD (also called kidney failure, stages 4 or 5) or if they have already started dialysis or working towards transplant.

The Know Your Kidneys events in 2025 had 611 attendees. 98% would recommend it to others with CKD and 93% rated the online session as either very good or good.

Please can you advertise our free online events :

  1. Ask their patients to register directly through the links on the web page here: www.kidneycareuk.org/know-your-kidneys

Please see attachment for suggested wording to use with your patients.

  1. Print the attached poster and share with their patients in their surgery/clinic.
