Mary Clarke Becomes a Queen’s Nurse

We are delighted to announce that Mary Clarke, our Head of Primary Care Nursing, has been awarded the title of Queen’s Nurse. Mary joins other colleagues in NEL, Ruth Amertey and Linda Aldous, in being nominated and awarded this prestigious title.

Queen’s Nurse (QN) is a title awarded by the Queen’s Nursing Institute (QNI) to registered nurses working in community or primary care settings who demonstrate a high level of commitment to patient care, leadership, and professional development. This is recognition of the work that Mary and her colleagues to share the values of excellence, innovation, and advocacy in community nursing.

Being a Queen’s Nurse means:
