GP update on new EPR at BHRUT

Posted on:

We’re transforming the way we work at BHRUT with the introduction of a new electronic patient record (EPR), which will bring together clinical information into one, secure digital system.

We’ve made the decision to move our EPR go live date to 8 November 2025. The extra time will allow us to make sure our teams are fully prepared for the transition.

The new EPR will bring together multiple outdated systems into one integrated, secure platform that supports safer, faster, and more joined-up care. For local GPs and primary care teams, this will mean more consistent clinical correspondence, improved discharge summaries, and better continuity of care across hospital and community settings.

We will be in touch with more news for primary care over the coming weeks.
