GP PSIRF – join the webinar and get involved in the programme

GP practices, PCNs and Federations are invited to attend an upcoming webinar to learn about the General Practice Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (GP PSIRF) and how to get involved in this national programme. PSIRF focuses on understanding why incidents happen to drive meaningful improvements in care. Following successful pilots, the programme is now expanding, with opportunities for general practice to participate.

Programme registration:
Registration is now open for GP practices, PCNs and Federations to participate in the next phase of the GP PSIRF programme, following successful pilots.
Organisations interested in joining can complete the programme registration form by 6 July 2026.

The GP PSIRF programme is a free, supportive initiative designed to help practices improve safety systems while preparing for potential future rollout.

By participating, organisations will:

  • Strengthen their approach to patient safety with tailored guidance
  • Develop skills through webinars and peer learning
  • Learn from real-world examples in general practice
  • Get ahead of potential national rollout with dedicated support 
  • Help shape the future of patient safety in primary care

What’s involved if you choose to participate:

  • Engagement in webinars, check-ins and local improvement testing
  • Opportunity to influence PSIRF implementation in primary care
  • Approx. 1.5 days per month commitment
