GP IT Training Team – bespoke workshops

Posted on:

Brought to you by the GP IT Training Team at NHS NEL ICB, The team will be delivering a new Monthly Focus whose aim is to provide invaluable support to you and your staff working in general practice on the many new initiatives, projects and requirements that will be rolled out in the future months in 2024 and beyond.

The first Monthly Focus is coming up in April 2024. The theme for April is Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA). As part of the DSP-Toolkit, there is a mandatory assertion that requires DPIA to be completed for any change in process or system e.g. allowing patients to view their own medical records online, meaning practices would have to complete a Data Protection Impact Assessment as part of this change.

We will be running bespoke workshops on the monthly focus from the GPIT Training Team and individual practice support from your Local Area Facilitators.

To support and guide you with this, we have put in place the sessions below, and you are encouraged and cordially invited to attend one of the workshops that is convenient for you. In the future we will hold workshops where you can attend in person. So, you’ve got plenty of options! Your Local Area Facilitator is always willing to bring you up to speed on the areas discussed. JUST ASK!
