GP Improvement Programme – Intermediate support offer to help practices implement ‘modern general practice’.
We are writing to make you aware that there are still opportunities for practices to benefit from the GP Improvement Programme Intermediate Support Offer later this year. This tailored ‘hands on’ support is available to practices to help implement modern general practice and realise benefits quickly. The Intermediate offer involves three months of support with a facilitator and focuses on one (or more) of the following areas: i) demand and capacity, ii) improved telephony journeys, iii) improved patient contact with practice, iv) improved triage & care navigation, v) better practice workload management.
The Intermediate Support Programme will start on w/c 4 December 2023 until 18 March 2024 . Practices can nominate themselves for the intermediate support offer by registering to join the next engagement offer by using this link. Introductory webinars will be held from 23 October to 2 November (see dates at the bottom of this email) and practices will have until 17 November 2023 to sign up for the support.
We will be sharing details of The NEL process for accessing transitional funding with you shortly. One of the criteria around use of this funding will be to support participation in a national or NEL-wide structured quality improvement offer, which would include participation in this programme.
