CPD Accredited NHS Workforce Conference (8 CPD Points)
At a time where workforce pressures continue to impact every part of the NHS, this event has been designed to focus on what delivery actually looks like in practice. With ongoing challenges around recruitment, retention, wellbeing and new models of care, there is a growing need to move beyond strategy and into real, system-wide solutions that support a sustainable workforce.
We are bringing together a senior faculty of NHS leaders and national voices, with confirmed speakers including:
- Dr Helen Garr, Medical Director, NHS Practitioner Health
• Amar Shah, National Clinical Director for Improvement, NHS England
• Kerry Mills, National Strategic Lead for Clinical Education Programmes, NHS England
• Additional speakers from Integrated Care Systems, provider organisations and national workforce programmes
Key topics and sessions include:
- Workforce retention and wellbeing strategies that go beyond short-term initiatives
• Embedding new roles and multidisciplinary team models across services
• Workforce planning aligned to demand, capacity and population health needs
• Leadership development and building resilient, high-performing teams
• Neighbourhood teams and integrated care workforce models
• Tackling workforce gaps through innovation, digital tools and new pathways into the NHS
The programme will include national perspectives, NHS case studies, leadership sessions and skill-led clinics, designed to provide practical insight rather than theory.
By attending, you will:
- Gain a clearer understanding of how workforce challenges are being addressed across the NHS
• Hear directly from leaders delivering change within organisations and systems
• Take away practical ideas you can apply within your own team or service
• Contribute to open discussion on shared challenges and solutions
• Build valuable connections with peers across workforce and care integration
There will be dedicated networking throughout the day, allowing you to connect with colleagues facing similar challenges and share approaches in a collaborative setting.
As with all Convenzis events, attendance is free for NHS delegates and includes 8 CPD points.
