BHRUT – Rapid Access Chest pain service to use advice and refer

BHRUT Rapid Access Chest Pain service will use Advice and Refer on e-RS. It is important GPs use Advice as the Request Type when referring on e-RS.
As of Wednesday 5 February 2025, all patients being referred to Rapid Access Chest Pain Clinic should be referred to the service below:
Service Name: Cardiology – Rapid Access Chest Pain Advice and Refer Service Queens and KGH Hospitals RF4 –BHRUT
How to find it on e-RS:
- Request Type = Advice
- Specialty = Cardiology
- Clinic type: Rapid Access Chest Pain
The services previously used for BHRUT Rapid Access Chest Pain Services will be closed.
Note:
The RACP service has changed from Directly Bookable to an advice and refer service.
All requests will be reviewed within 5 working days – either to give prompt advice or to schedule an appointment, according to clinical need.
All other referral services for Rapid Access Chest Pain services have now been closed and all requests for Rapid Access Chest Pain input should now come via the new service listed above.
