BHRUT – Pathology Lab IT incident

BHRUT is writing to inform you that they have identified an issue in their Pathology lab relating to the electronic GP messaging service for results. They believe this started in June last year following a planned change to their laboratory information system. What they’ve discovered is that when haematology samples couldn’t be processed, associated comments weren’t sent electronically to the GP messaging system. This relates to biochemistry results which could still be accessed via Cyberlab; however, GP surgeries did not receive a message from Labcomms.
