Please fine below a link to the latest CEPN primary care bulletin. There are a number of useful training and webinar programmes in this newsletter.

ARRS roles were introduced in 2019 as a key part of the government’s manifesto commitment to improve access to general practice, in September 2022 the roles were expanded to include GP assistance,  which is expected help free up GPs time and contribute to the smooth running of appointments, improving patients experience in the surgery. Within the latest CPEN news letter your find details of a new training programme that will see these roles become accredited.

There is also the trauma informed care programme and would encourage any practice that is caring for patients that live in a contingency hotel to sign up to this training programme.

As part of the new GP contract changes practices need to ensure by 31 October 2023 that patients have online access to their prospective medical record. Within the newsletter there are details of the webinar that will support practices to prepare for this.

There are also workshops around the CPCS scheme to support practices with capacity and access planning
