Barts Health – CT scan appointments

In alignment with their goal to improve access to care and reduce waiting times for imaging appointments, they are excited to share that they are utilising the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) at Mile End Hospital to ensure more appointments are available for outpatients. The CDC now has dedicated capacity for patients who require scans and should receive an appointment within two weeks.
What to tell your patients:
When requesting a CT scan, please inform patients that their appointment is likely to be at Mile End Hospital. The request process and access to images/reports remain unchanged.
