NEL Health Equity Curriculum

Posted on:

The NEL Health Equity Academy with Altogether Better are launching a Health Equity for Primary Care Curriculum. The curriculum consists of two streams:

  1. The Ideas stream – a series of webinars open to all who work in primary care, focussing on 5 different topics to support seeing and doing things differently when it comes to tackling health inequalities
  2. The doing stream – a programme for those working in primary care who are keen to develop the knowledge, skills and resourcefulness to take action to address health inequalities

Please see the attached fliers for more information on the streams and how to register. For any questions please contact nelondonicb.healthequityacademy@nhs.net.

The Health Equity Curriculum is part of a suite of programmes delivered by the NEL Health Equity Academy to support colleagues understand and take action to reduce health inequalities in their areas. Whilst we recognise that primary care is currently under immense strain, we hope that these opportunities will support colleagues to continue developing their skills and knowledge in how to improve access, experiences and outcomes for our vulnerable populations.
