Patient Health Records (PHR)

Patient Health Records (PHR)

North East London ICB has commissioned DrDoctor and PKB (Patient Knows Best) to manage patient health records across the 5 trusts in NEL. The Personal Health Records (PHR) programme allows patients to securely access and manage their health information online, including medical records, test results, care plans, and appointments. It enables easy communication with healthcare providers, giving patients control over their health data. Both PKB (Patients Know Best), and DrDoctor are integrated with the NHS App, providing seamless access to the patient health records.

PKB enables patients to view and update their health records, enhancing personalised care. DrDoctor streamlines appointment management with digital reminders and simultaneous communication, reducing missed appointments and improving efficiency.

Accessing Patient Health Records

The patient can access their Personal health records by using the NHS App, they can also access the same services in a web browser by logging in through the NHS website.
