Translated resources to help patients share their experiences of care
Good morning,
We are pleased to share a set of translated posters to support the Care Quality Commission’s (CQC) Share for Better Care campaign.
The campaign, led by CQC and Healthwatch England and supported by organisations including the Patients Association encourages people to share their experiences of health and social care. CQC is particularly keen to hear from communities whose voices are often underrepresented, including people from minority ethnic communities, lower-income communities, autistic people and people with a learning disability, and disabled people with physical or sensory impairments.
To help make information about the campaign more accessible, we have produced patient posters in the following languages:
- Arabic
- Bengali
- Portuguese
- Punjabi
- Romanian
- Urdu
The posters are attached to this email. We would be grateful if you could display them in patient-facing areas, share them through your networks, or in your communications to help more people understand how they can share their experiences with the CQC. I’ve also attached our previous translations project – Understanding health experiences of patients who speak English as an additional language – which also has resources for patients from these language communities. We would appreciate if you could share these also, to ensure as many patients as possible are aware of their rights, how to prepare for appointments, and how to share feedback with CQC.
Every piece of feedback helps CQC build a better picture of the quality of health and social care services in England and supports improvements for patients.
Thank you for your support in helping ensure more patient voices are heard.
