Springfield Park PCN (Hackney) – Winners of RCGP Collaborative Project of the Year Award
Congratulations to Springfield Park PCN who has won the RCGP Collaborative Project of the Year Award for boosting childhood immunisation in North Hackney, increasing MMR coverage from 17% to 48% in just three months and vaccinating 1,600 children during the 2025 measles outbreak.
Driven by strong local partnerships and community co-design, over 5,000 children have accessed the Enhanced Immunisation Service, with walk-in options, home visits, and Yiddish materials to build trust and engagement.
The project’s model is now used in eight practices across Hackney and Haringey and has set a national example for tackling health inequalities in underserved communities.
