Francis Road Medical Centre is relocating to First Floor, Oliver Road Polyclinic, 75 Oliver Road Leyton, E10 5LG.
We are writing to you to let you know about an important change to the location of Francis Road Medical Centre.
The practice’s new premises that will be opening on 19 October 2026 at First Floor Oliver Road Polyclinic, 75 Oliver Road Leyton, E10 5LG.This is because the current premises lease at Francis Road will be expiring and the practice will to be moving to an exciting new purpose-built healthcare facility for our patients
Although the location is changing, the GP practice and the team l are not changing. The full Francis Road Medical Centre team will relocate to Richmond Road Medical Centre, so their patients will continue to receive care from the same doctors, nurses and wider practice team.
All patients and carers have been contacted to explain the change ad confirm that patients will remain registered with Francis Road Medical Centre, their medical records will remain with the practice, and their GP care will continue as normal.
The new location also means the practice will be able to increase their staffing levels and the skills mix of the team, so they can offer patients a wider range of services.
The new purpose-built primary care facility will provide current and new patients of Francis Road with modern facilities including disability access. There will be a total of 6 clinical rooms, a large welcoming reception and waiting area, along with baby changing facilities.

The Oliver Road Polyclinic is approximately 12 minutes’ walk, 4 minute cycling or 6 minutes by car from the current Francis Road site. We provided patients and carers with a map of the new location which includes travel directions from the existing site to the new premises in Francis Road.
We’ve also advised patients that if the move to the new premises and the opportunity to access the practice at Oliver Road is not convenient for them or their families, other local practices to join can be found by visiting the NHS website or by contacting the Customer Service number on 0300311 2233.
We can also confirm:
- There is limited street parking (Pay and Display bays)
- Children’s buggies can be brought into the practice
- Bike racks are available outside the building
