City & Hackney Celebrates Two Nursing Times Workforce Awards Shortlistings
City & Hackney Integrated Primary Care CIC is celebrating further national recognition after two entries were shortlisted for the Nursing Times Workforce Awards 2026.
This follows their recent success at the Nursing Times Awards 2026, where four of their five entries were shortlisted, and reflects the continued impact of work being delivered across IPC and with partners.
The shortlisted entries are:
- Rising Star Nurse Leader Award – Lauren Nardo
- Workforce Team of the Year – Strengthening and Sustaining the Primary Care Nursing Workforce Capacity and Resilience Across North East London
Lauren’s shortlisting recognises her leadership and contribution to primary care nursing across North East London. As a Nurse Partner, PCN Lead Nurse, manager and clinician, Lauren has played a significant role in supporting workforce development, career pathways and the growth of the primary care nursing workforce.
The Workforce Team of the Year shortlisting recognises the wider collaborative work undertaken across North East London to strengthen and sustain primary care nursing capacity and resilience, bringing together practices, PCNs, Training Hubs and education and system partners.
The finalists will now progress to live judging in October, with the Workforce Team of the Year judging taking place on 6 October and Lauren’s Rising Star Nurse Leader interview on 7 October.
The winners will be announced at the Nursing Times Workforce Awards 2026 on 24 November at the Hilton London Metropole.
