General Practice Vaccinations Data Dashboard – MMR programme data 

The General Practice Vaccinations Data Dashboard developed originally to support the COVID -19 vaccination programme has recently been extended to include seasonal flu and MMR vaccination programme data. 

The MMR reporting now available is provided by GPIT suppliers to NHS England as part of a regular data extract. The dashboard provides interactive data and patient downloads to support MMR vaccination activities. MMR summary tables and charts are available for review of practice MMR coverage, reporting parameters include age, sex, valid/invalid doses and information on whether patients have received national call and recall reminders. 

The General Practice Vaccinations Data Dashboard is an optional tool for general practice and can be used to support both operational and audit activities, the dashboard can be accessed via a Care Identity authenticator, usually a NHS smartcard. Although reporting at PCN level is not currently available, practices can set up views for their practice groupings via their smartcard. General practices who have supported user research on the Vaccinations Data Dashboard for MMR in recent months have fed back that review of PCN group data via the dashboard would be a useful support tool.
