BHR – Age UK Redbridge, Barking & Havering nail cutting clinic
Many older people find it hard to cut their own toenails. This can lead to a risk of foot problems as well as being uncomfortable. Residents aged 50+ can now have their nails trimmed at the clinic operating from their premises in Ilford.
They are also working towards opening more clinics across the borough as well as a mobile service.
Age UK Redbridge, Barking & Havering (RBH) has been established for over 50 years. Last year the organisation supported over 6000 older people across the three boroughs offering a range of preventative services to ensure older people stay well, independent and engaged in the communities.
The Nail Cutting Clinic is open on Tuesdays and by appointment only. They will also be offering the service in their Wanstead Activity Centre by the end of November.
