Neonatal BCG eligibility criteria

When referring infants under one year of age for BCG vaccination with one of the community vaccination (CYPCIS) providers – Vaccination UK or Kingston and Richmond NHS Foundation Trust – please ensure that the BCG eligibility criteria are followed: see screen grab below (live website: TB profile).
Please note that travel vaccines, including BCG vaccinations requested for travel purposes, are not commissioned by the NHS. Patients should therefore not be referred to Vaccination UK or Kingston and Richmond NHS Foundation Trust for travel vaccine advice or travel-related BCG vaccination.
