Posted on:

The Joint Cyber Unit within the Department for Health & Social Care and NHS England are seeking to understand the cyber security readiness and capabilities of the primary care sector, focusing on general practice, community pharmacy, optometry, and dentistry.

Areas of interest:

  • Exploring cyber security readiness and preparedness
  • Understanding the areas of greatest cyber security risk
  • Understanding behaviours and attitudes related to cyber security
  • Sharing good practice in cyber security

Commitment:

We are looking to speak to colleagues working in and/or supporting primary care, for short (30-45 minute) online interviews, to discuss the above cyber security themes.

How will this information be used:

The findings from these interviews will allow us to better understand cyber security in primary care, and how we can support the sector.

Deadline:

Please respond by 10 February 2025 if you would like to participate.

It would be great if you could support Primary Care Cyber Security Readiness by:

  • promoting this project to colleagues within any newsletters, bulletins, and networks
  • helping identify key stakeholders to undertake interviews, particularly those:
  • working in or supporting practices with IT/cyber/DSPT/E-Dec compliance
  • representing practices such as LPCs, LMCs, clinical or practice manager forums, etc.
