Are you a passionate GP looking to expand your expertise in women’s health? The Waltham Forest Women’s Health Hub is seeking experienced GPs (with particular interest in gynaecology) to join our Staff Bank to provide integrated clinics for gynaecology referrals in a multidisciplinary setting in the community. This role will involve providing supervision and training to other clinical staff working within the Women’s Health Hub.

This is an exciting opportunity for a GP to help deliver and shape the future of women’s health services within the NHS. If you are passionate about improving healthcare outcomes for women and have experience of managing common gynaecological conditions, we would love to hear from you.

As a GP with an Extended Role in gynaecology, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional primary care services to our female patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive physical examinations and consultations for a wide range of women’s health concerns.
  • Providing preventive care services.
  • Managing common gynaecological issues such as menstrual problems and pelvic pain
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals within the Hub, such as midwives, nurses, and pelvic health physiotherapist, to ensure coordinated care for patients.
  • Staying up to date on the latest advancements in women’s health and gynaecology.
  • Demonstrating a commitment to patient education and empowerment.

  • Full registration with GMC and hold a Licence to practice
  • CCT/SER
  • Inclusion in Medical Performers List (English)

  • Experience of working as a GP
  • Special Interest in Urogynaecology    
  • Special Interest in Menopause
