City and Hackney – Power Up! is accepting referrals

After a gap in service provision, Homerton Healthcare are happy to report that Power Up! is once again accepting referrals for their 12-week healthy lifestyle intervention for children, young people and their families in City and Hackney. Power Up! supports those 5-19 years and up to 25 years with SEND who are above a healthy weight (>91st centile BMI) to make healthy lifestyle changes.

If you are unsure if a child or young person meets the criteria, they can arrange to take measurements and calculate BMI. Homerton Health can also answer any questions about the service via email or telephone.
